Consulting Services
Den-Test's mission is to provide a critical service that, as yet, has been lacking in the development of new dental products and procedures. To this point, innovations in the dental industry have had limited evaluation routes, all of which exist in a vacuum from a central, accrediting body. Den-Test takes new dental products and procedures, and tests them in a "Real Environment" situation, using standard clinical protocols, in our University-based laboratories.
"REAL ENVIRONMENT" tests produce more accurate results
The Process of Product Evaluation:
The Den-Test process functional and performance testing and failure analysis.
Den-Test sets its testing criteria by working with each client. Den-Test will:
- Develop and review company materials, processes and equipment utilized, to set the guidelines for a transparent test
- Contrast quality measures such as performance vs. design standards
- Review and implement vendor specifications as needed
Failure analysis to improve reliability and to correct errant steps in the manufacturing process.
The Den-Test seal of approval:
All products that meet or exceed the Den-Test testing criteria will receive the Den-Test Seal of Approval.
The aim of the Den-Test Seal of Approval is to create a benchmark for dental products. The Seal will also:
- Enhance decision-making by dental professionals on the purchase of a new product
- Enhance the acceptance of new products by dental office personnel
- Evidence the rigor of the science behind the development and performance of the product
Den-Test provides a competitive advantage to its customers:
- We use university-based scientific expertise that sets us apart from other private non-university testing organizations.
- We have a connection with the university schools of business, engineering, law, medicine, and dental medicine that provides our clients with access to new ideas, materials and processes.
- We offer independent, accurate and complete results performed at state-of-the-art facilities.
Test results will be disseminated and available to practicing dentists, through:
- CRETE’s online bi-monthly newsletter
